Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 733, Yorba Linda, California -- Scouts from Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Placentia, Brea and Anaheim

Boy Scout Troop 733 is a committed group of Scouts and Scouters, boy-led and organized to maximize the scouting experience with a solid, well-rounded program of outdoor adventures, Scouting advancement, and community service.

Over 55 Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout since the troop was formed in 1998 and many more are well on their way. Building independent, self-sufficient, compassionate and aware leaders is what Scouting is all about. If you're interested learning life skills in an outdoors-based, adventure-packed environment, you've come to the right place.

Our current Senior Patrol Leader is Connor Lovitt and he is assisted by Maxwell Richardson. Click on Contact Us if you're interested in joining or finding out more information about Troop 733, or download the attachment below to get started with Troop 733 today.  The Troop meets at the Danish Lutheran Church and Cultural Center in Yorba Linda on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on the first, second and third Tuesday's of the month.  The fourth Tuesday meeting is for Scout Leadership to hold their Patrol Leaders Council meeting and plan the following month's activities.  The fifth Tuesday of a month is reserved for a game night when it occurs.   Troop 733 provides for over twenty (20) nights of camping each year and they participate in a week long Summer Camp.

Hello Troop,

As you know, our summer camp has been cancelled but know your scouting venture does not have to come to a standstill this summer. Scouts can continue to work on their advancements and merit badges.  Please contact your SPL to learn how.

A recent OC Council email communicated the current BSA guidelines, here they are in summary:
  • Council Offices will remain closed through June 15th.
  • In-person unit, district and council meetings, activities, and programs are closed through June 30th.
  • Council properties are closed through June 30th.

SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION

Posted on May 23 2020 - 12:26pm

Hello Troop,

It saddens all the leaders of Troop 733 to announce that summer camp at Camp Fiesta has been cancelled due to State and BSA COVID 19 Guidelines. Camp Fiesta will be refunding our Troop's deposit, which may take a little while since they are so short-staffed.  We have been asked to be patient as they work to process all refunds.  Upon receipt of the funds, they will be put back into your scout's account.  Please notify Mr. Carter, our treasurer, if you would like the troop to refund you. If not, the funds will remain on your scout's account for future activities, dues, etc. Please know your SM, ASM and PLC will be "meeting virtually" to discuss and come up with some other potential options as we anticipate more reopening of California in the coming months.
